Maggie (Chanel Camryn) is having a birthday party to reunite with her old high school friends Lea (Lulu Chu), Rachel (Liz Jordan), and Morgan (Freya Parker), but all is not well. Maggie is secretly a lesbian with feelings for Morgan, but Morgan unexpectedly brought an extra guest to the party: her new girlfriend, Kate (Maya Woulfe). Thankfully, Maggie's mood improves a bit when her parents, Drea (Dana Vespoli) and Claire (Lauren Phillips), arrive with a birthday cake. Maggie's friends, parents, and her older sibling Virginia (Electra Rayne) all sing happy birthday to her. After that, Drea and Claire leave for their room, telling the girls to have fun. The girls happily eat cake... except for Kate, who is standoffish and clearly feels like she doesn't belong here. Rachel looks unimpressed with Kate's attitude, and finds an excuse to sneak off.
